Sept 4 Picayune:copied from sprasad blogsite-worth repeating

copied from sprasad- Dr Prasad, thank you for your site. I hope to meet you sometime soon.
quoted from Mary, posting good advice for return to Picayune or any other disaster site:

"Only advice I can give you is this.

Bring your OWN supplies for food, water and gas. (especially enough gas to get yourself back home... it is in short supply.) Depending on how long you are planning to stay in area, a tent may not be a bad idea either. Plan to be HOT and sweaty... Oh, also tarps and rope. SAFE water.

Essentially, don't plan on having it (or being able to get it), unless you bring it with you. Even if they DO have it down there, the locals stuck there have a greater need of it than you.

Also, bring battery operated fans (if you can find them) with enough batteriers to run them."
