To EVER compare yourself to the evil Thomas McDermot I knew, you must be over the brink into clinical depression and so deluded to think your anger fear and capacity to hurt people is even a million trillionth of the wrong ways of Tom.

He hurts people because it makes him feel good doing it. He is clinically evil . You are clinically good.
You cannot be him, like him or worse than him.
You are not capaple of enjoying pain being inflicted on others.

listen to my sermon on anger.
A not as brilliantly presented thought spawned by the St Brendan's Priest, June 26.

Remember the gospel of Luke, when Jesus rebuked his disciples (good people) for wishing the town showered with brimstone because the people cast them out and rejected them?
Jesus was angry with them for suggesting it.
They were angry too, but wished hurt on someone.

Is anger always bad?
Is anger sin?
Does God get angry?

God is all good right?
God is not capable of evil, right?
God invented anger, Right?
Logically, God cannot sin, right?
So if God is angry......

The priest is right.

Anger is an emotion we produce without control
We dont wake up in the morning and decide, I will be happy till noon and then be angry for three hours...
We have anger that stirs us to commit acts of kindness compassion and mercy.
We have anger that causes us to protect our loved ones from harm.

I ask you, are your loved ones in danger of being harmed ?
Are your children in danger of being harmed by the anger of another?
Emotionally are you being harmed by someone's anger?

What behaviors are not working for you?
As my counsellor would say, having identified some strong personality traits, can we use them ( the power) to learn new habits that will get better effect from your actions or requests?
Are we able to control the behavior of others?
Are we able to communicate to others in ways THEY will decide to behave differently?

How we respond TO anger is important.

Sometimes it IS appropriate to act.

Is the longterm lingering pain and hurt less hurtful than the momentary pain that removes longterm hurt????????
